Cybersecurity Engineer (Offensive Security)

About the Role
NetOne is recruiting a Cybersecurity Engineer (Offensive Security), reporting to the Cybersecurity and Governance Specialist, to perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments and red-team exercises across the organisation's systems, networks and applications.
Duties:
- Conduct internal and external penetration testing and vulnerability assessments using approved tools.
- Perform red-team activities simulating real-world attacks; validate weaknesses through controlled exploitation.
- Analyse root causes and business impact; document findings with technical evidence and recommendations.
- Support SOC operations, adversary emulation, remediation guidance and re-testing.
- Assist DevSecOps by identifying security gaps in pipelines; support compliance and audits.

Requirements
- A Degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Informatics, Information Systems, or Electronics and Telecommunications, or equivalent.
- Knowledge of OWASP Top 10, MITRE ATT&CK, SANS Top 25, offensive security and threat-intelligence frameworks, and ISO 27001.
- Ethical hacking and red-teaming skills are a must; CEH Practical or PNPT required (CEH Master an added advantage).
- Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure; minimum 3 years' experience in the field.
