About the Role
Ref: A/GEN/13 · Vacancy No. 54. Reports to the Director, Research and Statistics.
Role: Contribute to developing and implementing the Ministry's innovation policies and strategies; facilitate collection of information from paper-based sources, the internet, online databases and the public; advise on research methods and policy development; liaise with policy customers and external researchers; coordinate the writing of innovation speeches, articles, policy papers and research briefs; supervise research specifications; provide technical input into procurement; and supervise, coach and counsel subordinates.

Requirements
- Degree in Education or equivalent (a master's degree an added advantage).
- At least six (6) years at Education Research Officer grade or equivalent.
- Proven extensive research skills and experience in the education sector.
- Understanding of Ministry functions and national development priorities; ability to use ICT in innovation and development work.
