Deputy Director — Languages and Humanities

About the Role
Reports to the Director, Curriculum Development.
Role: Manage the development and review of syllabi, learning materials and assessment frameworks for languages and humanities; give policy guidance on the formal and non-formal curriculum; collaborate with teacher-training institutions; advise on language of instruction, multilingualism and humanities education; and coordinate research and programmes with universities, NGOs and development partners.

Requirements
- Degree in Education with a bias in Languages and Humanities subjects (a relevant master's an added advantage).
- At least six (6) years at Education Research Officer / Material Production Officer grade, or two (2) years at School Head grade.
- Advanced knowledge of curriculum design and implementation for languages and humanities; expertise in designing evaluation tools.
- Knowledge of national education policies; able to work under minimum supervision.
