About the Role
Teach Applied Chemical Technology at NC level per the HEXCO curriculum; prepare lesson plans, materials and assessments; deliver lectures, tutorials and laboratory practicals; assess students and supervise projects and industrial attachment; manage laboratory equipment safely; enforce laboratory health, safety, environmental and quality-assurance standards; participate in curriculum development and departmental activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Applied Chemical Technology, Chemical Technology, Industrial Chemistry, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- A Master's degree and a recognised teaching qualification are added advantages.
- Tertiary teaching experience (particularly HEXCO programmes) is preferred; industrial experience in chemical manufacturing, laboratory operations or quality control is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy and proficiency in e-learning platforms.
