About the Role

External advert. The Fisheries Intern, based at the Zimbabwe Institute of Wildlife Conservation and reporting to the Vice Principal, will:
- Assist in running the college fisheries project.
- Assist students with their fisheries practicals.
- Attend to data collection and participate in Fisheries Research projects.
- Conduct predator control in fish ponds.
- Feed fish and clean fish ponds.
- Make requests for resources needed in fish farming.
- Maintain and update fish-farming records.
- Assist in conducting fisheries tutorials to National Certificate students.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

Qualifications, experience and skills
- BSc Honours Degree in Protected Area Management/Fisheries or equivalent.
- 5 O-Level passes including English, Mathematics and Science.
- Good communication skills.
- Computer literacy.
