About the Role
A Legal Officer reporting to the Company Secretary & Legal Advisor.
Responsibilities
- Conduct legal research and provide advisory opinions on regulatory, commercial and governance matters.
- Review policies for statutory/regulatory alignment; maintain a Legal & Regulatory Register and licensing records.
- Serve as Data Protection Officer, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection Act and ICT/data-governance laws.
- Draft, review, negotiate and vet contracts; maintain a contracts database; support governance and statutory filings.

Requirements
- Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent; Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO).
- Minimum 3 years' experience in corporate, legal, compliance or regulatory environment.
- Membership of the Law Society of Zimbabwe.
- Strong legal research, advisory, communication and stakeholder-engagement skills; high ethical standards.
