About the Role
A Pharmaceutical Sales Representative reporting to the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare the product marketing plan (strategy and tactics using global product documentation where available); prepare periodic market- and competitor-analysis reports and prompt responses to market trends.
- Submit weekly activity reports and continuous market intelligence; implement marketing strategies in liaison with the Sales and Marketing Manager; evaluate promotional activities.
- Handle new product launches and field visits ensuring maximum market coverage; participate in medical/pharmaceutical professional events; identify trends, opportunities and threats and propose measures.
- Evaluate the marketing mix and product performance (financial and marketing metrics); own the product range's profit-and-loss position; build and optimise relationships with market influencers.

Requirements
- A Degree in Marketing is a must; a diploma in nursing or pharmaceutical technology (a strong degree in Life Sciences can be considered).
- A postgraduate degree (e.g. MBL/MBA) an added advantage.
- At least 2 years' experience in a pharmaceutical company or related field as a Sales Representative or equivalent.
