About the Role

The Southern African Power Pool (SAPP), established in April 1995 under the SADC Treaty, coordinates regional electricity cooperation to optimise energy resources and support member states.

SAPP invites applications from suitably qualified graduates from its Member States for two (2) Post Graduate Traineeships based at the Coordination Centre in Harare, Zimbabwe. The programme is a two-year structured development initiative aimed at building capacity in the regional power sector.

Traineeship Areas:
1. Markets - Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Business Management, Commerce, or equivalent (Upper Second Class or better)
2. Planning and Operations - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent (Upper Second Class or better)

Eligibility: Open to applicants from Angola, Botswana, DRC, Eswatini, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, and Zimbabwe.
