About the Role
An upmarket garden restaurant based in Bindura is seeking an experienced Restaurant Manager to take full operational and commercial responsibility for the outlet.
Key responsibilities
- Operational leadership: oversee all day-to-day operations across kitchen, front-of-house, grounds and security to ensure smooth service 7 days a week, 09:00–21:00.
- Revenue & commercial growth: drive revenue growth, covers, average spend, event bookings and overall turnover; implement strategies to achieve business targets.
- Staff management: lead, train, roster and appraise all restaurant staff; foster a culture of excellent customer service and teamwork.
- Procurement & costing: manage suppliers, procurement systems, recipe costing and margin management.
- Inventory & controls: maintain strict inventory and stock-loss control systems; ensure accurate stock takes and minimise wastage.
- Financial reporting: prepare and submit structured weekly financial and operational reports; monitor budgets and costs.
- Systems management: oversee POS and inventory systems for accuracy and efficiency.
- Guest experience & events: ensure exceptional guest experience; coordinate and deliver private events and functions to a high standard.
- Marketing: support and implement local marketing initiatives to drive footfall and brand presence.

- Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management, Hotel & Catering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in restaurant management, preferably in an upmarket dining environment.
- Proven commercial ability and track record in growing revenue and managing costs.
