About the Role
Applications are invited for Teaching Assistant vacancies in the Department of Computer Science. Please attach a CV and academic certificates in a single PDF file.
Duties:
- Assist lecturers in the preparation and delivery of lectures and tutorials.
- Conduct tutorial classes and revision sessions under the supervision of the course lecturer.
- Demonstrate practical concepts during laboratory sessions and provide academic support to students.
- Assist in preparing teaching and learning materials and developing laboratory manuals and practical guides.
- Facilitate student consultations during designated hours and support online and blended learning.

Requirements
- A first degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering/Information Systems or a related field, passed with an Upper Second (2.1) degree class or better.
- The degree should have been completed within the last three years.
Skills: Programming, software development, object-oriented programming (OOP), web development, database management, SQL, computer networking, operating systems administration (Windows and Linux) and cybersecurity fundamentals.
