Trainee Plant Operators (2026-2029)

Zimbabwe Power Company is the leading generator of electrical energy in Zimbabwe and supplies the bulk of the nations electrical power requirements from its Power Stations.

TRAINEE PLANT OPERATORS (2026-2029) REF: ZPCHO02/2026
Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates aged between 16 and 20 years to undergo a three-year training programme with the Zimbabwe Power Company.

Qualifications/ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 'O' Level passes including English Language, Mathematics, and any Science subject graded B or better. Applicants in possession of 'A' Level Science subjects passes will be an added advantage.
• Legible certified copies of National Identity Card, Birth and Educational Certificates.
• A duly completed original application form (ZPC TPO 01) is to be obtained from Zimbabwe Power Company Head Office or any of the following Power Stations: Harare, Munyati, Kariba and Hwange.

• Enthusiasm and personal drive
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer and technical literacy skills
• Strong analytical and numerical skills
