About the Role
Geo Pomona is hiring a Waste Collection Manager in the Operations Department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor waste-collection policies, strategies and operational plans.
- Ensure compliance with the Environmental Management Act, by-laws and applicable legislation.
- Coordinate daily collection, transportation, treatment and disposal operations in line with approved schedules.
- Manage fleet, budgets, resources and collection teams for efficiency, compliance and safety.
- Drive community outreach, recycling initiatives and illegal-dumping prevention programmes.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Honours Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or an equivalent relevant qualification.
- Master's degree in strategic management or a related field is an added advantage.
- Minimum of five years' experience in waste management, solid-waste operations, environmental services or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of environmental legislation, waste-management standards, fleet and occupational-safety requirements.
